Today, in the capable hands of Alexia and Pierre Bouyer, the estate of Chateau Milon represents more than seven generations of viticultural heritage. The domain is constituted of 18 hectares with 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. Alexia takes great care and pride in the viticulture of the vines, creating stunning, elegant reds, such as this Ambrosius Cuvée, a beautiful, fruity Saint Emilion Grand Cru.
Grapes: 75% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc
Terroir: Sandy soil and sandstone in one parcel and gravel in the others.
Winemaking: Cold soaked and fermented in a tank for 3 to 4 weeks. Aged 12 to 15 months in barrels (30% new).
