What more could you want, with an impressive 97pts from the highly-respected Italian wine critic Luca Maroni, this delicious little blend totally overdelivers for the price. 

Coming from the beautiful region of Apulia in southern Italy, the wine is produced mainly from Negroamaro, specifically 80%, the last 20% is Primitivo. The grapes for the wine are harvested from the end of September to the beginning of October, when the grapes have dried naturally on the vines and lost a large part of their liquid. It produces less juice, but more rich and aromatic juice. All the grapes for this wine are sorted manually before vinification begins, and finally the wine is left for 12 months in cement tanks before bottling.
